Why Layout D?

Layout D incorporates an opening for a Maxxfan Deluxe in the rear floor which gives enough room at the front to fit a massive 450W solar panel using our basic solar mount kit*.
Loads of space for solar, a rear floor and space for a Maxxfan, all whist keeping the weight in check. Sometimes you can have you cake and eat it too!

Materials & Finish

  • Material: High grade Mg+Si Aluminium alloys TIG welded together. We only use the strongest and most corrosion resistant grades.
  • Hardware: Chemically blacked stainless steel and black anodised alloy, for a rust-free stealthy look.
  • Finish: Mantadeck DuraFuse™ is our unique ruggedised textured coating. Applied via a 5-stage finishing process, it’s much tougher & thicker than paint, & less slippery when wet.

Compatibility Info

  • Compatible with the MWB high roof Mercedes Sprinter from 2006-2025 and the VW Crafter from 2006-2016.
  • Requires factory roof tracks. If your van does not have these fitted, they can be added to your order (just click “Configure & Add To Cart”)
  • Your Maxxfan Deluxe must be located in the right place so that it fits within the opening on the rack.
    Follow the instructions for “position 2” in the guide below to fit your Maxxfan in a compatible location, or to check the location of an existing Maxxfan.
